One of the great things about living at the Lake of the Ozarks is the FISHING! Speaking of fishing, one of the biggest fishing events at the lake is happening this weekend. The Big Bass Bash is taking place this Saturday, October 7 through Sunday, October 8. This fishing tournament gives fishing amateurs the chance to win a great deal of money and show off their fishing skills. This tournament is for amateurs only. Here's how the Big Bass Bash works. The format is simple. Many fishing tournaments are team-based, but this one is different. All it takes is just one fisherman to get just one BIG bass to win. 

You Can Win a TON of CASH at the Fall Big Bass Bash

The 4 biggest bass of the weekend will win:

1st place: $70,000
2nd place: $20,000
3rd place: $10,000
4th place: $5,000

Along with the 4 top payouts, the following will be awarded during the listed time slots:

Time Slots are from: 7-9 a.m., 9-11 a.m., 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., & 1-3 p.m.
(35 places will be paid during each time slot.)
