Get in touch with your inner "polar bear" and come out for the 2018 Polar Plunge. This event presents a unique opportunity to support our local Special Olympics athletes. You may either walk, run, or crawl into the cold, frigid water of the Lake of the Ozarks. All proceeds from the event will go toward the Special Olympics Missouri year-round program of sports training and competition for those with intellectual disabilities.

With this event, you will also have the opportunity to support the Special Olympics but by strutting through the cold winter air. Participants must be at least 10 years old. This is a family-friendly event.
Participants will also need to raise a minimum of $50 by the day of the event. This event is a project of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Missouri. The Osage Beach Department of Public Safety is proud to host this event.
The proceeds from this event will also benefit the Special Olympics Missouri year-round program of sports training and competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
